Homemade Buffalo Sauce

Homemade buffalo sauce has never been easier

This one’s for all you super bowl folks — you guys in need of some extra spice in your life or maybe a fresh appetizer with an Asian twist on it. You might be able to find a bottle of Frank’s hot sauce at your local import store, but maybe you’re like us and the only one you can find is Sriracha. So here’s my attempt to make buffalo sauce that packs a little bit more of a punch than your regular buffalo sauce (in my opinion).

Homemade Buffalo Sauce

45 minutes

18-20 Kashmiri chilis

5 cloves of garlic

2 cups white distilled vinegar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

  1. Bring chilis, garlic, and vinegar to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 35-45 minutes Chilis will have rehydrated and be plump.

  2. After boiling, add the mixture plus remaining ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend on high for 5 minutes until smooth.

  3. Cool & store in refrigerator for up to 10 days.
